Veggie Stew

I am super excited to be getting our crop share from Abbondanza and this week we got a nice variety of veggies.  I decided to make a stew which is something I don’t normally cook and it turned out amazing…

From our crop share I used tatssoi, radish, turnip, and garlic scapes.  I also used a tomato from the farmers market and an onion and carrot that were in the fridge.

  • tatssoi
  • radish
  • turnip
  • garlic scapes
  • tomato
  • onion
  • carrot
  • olive oil
  • veggie stock
  • turmeric
  • coriander
  • s&p


  1. Saute the onion and garlic scapes in olive oil.
  2. Add all the rest of the ingredients using just enough liquid to almost cover all the vegetables.
  3. Simmer on low heat for 1-11/2 hours.




We ate this with Seeds of Change Velleron French0Style Herb Whole Grain Blend.  The turnip and radish were my favorites!!
