Tortellini & Sage Butter


I have had success with a couple of the Rising Moon Organic products and recently decided to try the Four Cheese Tortellini for this meal.  Verdict: best frozen tortellini I’ve been able to find.

  • Tortellini
  • Butter
  • Fresh Sage (from my garden!!!!!)
  • Onion, thinly sliced
  • Garlic, minced
  • S&P
  • Pecorino Romano

This was pretty straight forward.  Boil water for pasta.  Heat the butter in a skillet.  Add the onions and slow cook.  Add the garlic and most of the sage.  Continue to brown the onion slowly while the pasta cooks.

Once the pasta is finished add it to the sage butter along with a bit more of the fresh sage.  Season with s&p.  Serve with pecorino romano.
