Broth: Quickly fry some chopped garlic and sliced onion in peanut oil. Add 2 tsp “Better than Bullion” beef. Add 2 cups water + piece of a star anise, a cardamom pod, a piece of a cinnamon stick, and a little black pepper. Ginger/chili/lime can also be added. Simmer.
Cook noodles according to box, rinse, and place in your bowl. Add veggies to bowl. (Used spinach and bok choy leaf; blanched the spinach for a few seconds in the hot noodle water.)
Remove anise, cardamom, cinnamon, and dump broth over noodles and veggies.
