Shrimp Cocktail with Tartar Sauce


Bought a pound of shrimp and decided to go simple.  Unfortunately I didn’t have any horseradish for cocktail sauce, so I went the tartar route.

  • 1 lb Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • Salt
  • Vegenaise
  • Bubbies Bread & Butter Pickles, chopped
  • Amy’s Worcestershire
  • Garlic Seasoning

Boil a pot of salt water.  Add the cleaned shrimp and cook for 3-4 minutes.  Immediately after drain the shrimp and place in a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking.  Once cooled place in a bowl and salt lightly.  Keep cold in the fridge until serving.

For the tartar mix the vegenaise, pickles, worcestershire, and garlic seasoning.  Taste and adjust if necessary.
