Papaya Batida!


A little taste of Panama!!!  Batida’s are common all throughout Central and South America.  Each country seems to have their own version, some alcoholic some not.  In Panama they were an amazing non-alcoholic smoothie.  Of course they weren’t the healthiest but that didn’t stop me!  I always went for the papaya flavor since there truly is no better fruit.  In a blender they would add some fresh papaya, ice, condensed milk, and simply syrup.  It was SO SO SO good!!!  Lately Josh has been craving some papaya so we’ve purchased a few and to both our surprises they have been really good.  So yesterday I decided to go down the road of creating a batida.  I kept mine simple and definitely healthier:


  • Papaya
  • 2 Coconut Milk Ice Cubes
  • Almond Milk
  • Agave Nectar
  • Ice (just a little)

Gone within 5 minutes!
