I love mushrooms! This summer we have ventured more into grilling with them and have had phenomenal results.
Oyster mushrooms are extremely delicate in texture and you have to grill them in large bunches so they don’t fall through the grate. I seasoned these with olive oil, s&p, and lightly stuffed the open spaces with local fresh basil. Super super delicious! (You don’t eat the base of the oyster mushrooms since it is tough, but make sure to leave it in tact to grill!) I ate mine plain, but these make great shroom burgers too!
