I have never had white asparagus and decided to try something new.
I tossed them in olive oil, salt, and pepper. Grilling on a hot grill until just charred on each side.
The flavor was a bit milder and the texture was definitely crisper than green asparagus. I enjoyed them!
These would be a nice compliment to most dishes!
And for those who don’t know, white asparagus is grown underground so it lacks chlorophyll (the green color).
